Creating A Website And New Pages Using Provided Templates

4.  While in file manager, click the "NEW FILE" button.  You will then choose a "File Editor".  I suggest using the "WYSIWYG" editor at this time.  After clicking the "WYSIWYG" editor icon and you will be able to choose a template for your web page.  Click on a template and you will be able to preview the template.  Choose one and click the "SELECT TEMPLATE" button.  The new template will then be visible in the WYSIWYG editor.  You can add your page content here.  NOTE:  The navigation buttons are images and the text is not editable.  So if the navigation button text does not suit you, you can right click on the button image and choose "Save Picture As", and edit it with a photo editing program on your computer, and then upload it back to your website.  You can also just right click on the images and choose "Cut" to remove them from the template.  After you create your page click the (save) icon and a window will appear that says "you did not enter a file name for your web page" click "OK", and a new window will appear and you can enter a name for the page.  Use no spaces and the page title MUST end in .html and the main page of your site MUST be called index.html.  Any other page you create can be called anything as long as you have no spaces and it ends in .html.

Creating A Website And New Pages Using Imported Templates

5.  Using the provided templates can be a bit annoying because the images move around as you type and distort the template.  If you are having trouble with the provided templates but still want to use a web page template, try my easy to use templates.  Go to MY TEMPLATE PAGE and you can see the templates by clicking "view template".  If you see a template you want to use click on "get free script" and click and drag to highlight the entire code on the page from <html> to <html>.  Then right click in the highlighted area and choose "Copy".  Now go back to the File Manager at Yabz.net  and click the "NEW FILE" button.  Choose the "TEXT EDITOR" icon and right click in the text box and choose "Paste".  The code for the template should appear in the box.  Choose a file name for the page and remember: use no spaces and the page title MUST end in .html and the main page of your site MUST be called index.html.  Any other page you create can be called anything as long as you have no spaces and it ends in .html.  Click the "CREATE TEXT FILE" button, and do not be alarmed if you see the text "Your text file content contains bad language.  Please remove any bad language from your text below".  There is no bad language in the template,  just scroll down a little further to the file manager, and you can view the template on your web page by clicking on the icon or your page title.  It will open in a new window so you can close the page to edit your new template.
To edit the template, while in "File Manager", check the box to the left of the page you want to edit and click the "WYSIWYG" button.  The new template will be visible in the editor and you can work on your page!  When you are finished click the (save) icon at the top and you will be taken back to the file manager.

Uploading Files And Images

6.  While in File Manager, click the "UPLOAD" button.  You can then upload up to ten files from your computer.  Browse your computer for the file(s) and click "UPLOAD FILE(S)".  You should see a page that says "Your files were successfully uploaded".  You can then "upload more files" or "return to file manager".

Inserting Images And Photos

7.  While in File Manager, check the box to the left of the page you want the image to appear on, and click the "WYSIWYG" button.  Click on the page where you want the image to appear and then click the (photo) icon at the top.  A list of your images that you have uploaded will appear.  Click on the image you want and click "INSERT IMAGE".  When you are finished click the (save) icon at the top and you will be taken back to the file manager.
