Registration 1. First go to SPpages.com to sign up. Under the "Ad Supported" box on the bottom right, click on "Get More Details". Now scroll down to the bottom and click on "Join Now" under the free column on the left. Now on the ipanel page, choose "Free Hosting" and click the "next" button. Now choose "Use Sub-Domain" and click the "Next" button. You will then be able to choose your website's name. So you will get to choose a name to go in front of sppages.com or sppages.com. This will be your website's address (URL) and it will look something like "www.yourwebsitetitle.sppages.com". If your chosen name is available you will then be able to register your personal information (under "How did you hear about us?", please enter howdoimakeafreewebsite.com) agree to the terms of service by checking the box, and click the "next" button. Make sure you use a valid email address. You will then choose a user name and password (user name cannot be the same as your domain name) and click the "next" button. Confirmation 2. In a few minutes, you should receive the confirmation email. Subject line will be "Account Approval Required". Go to the email address you registered with, open the email, and and click on the link in the email to verify your account. You will then see a page thanking you for registering for your new free website. Build Your Site 3. After confirming your site, you may now log in at http://www.sppages.com/ipanel/login/ at any time in the future to work on building your site. Enter you user name and password and click the "submit" button. The menu on the top left will be your administration panel. Click on the first one the list "CPanel login" You may get a security popup, click yes, then enter your user name and password and click "OK". You should now see all the icons on your CPanel page. Click on the "File Manager" icon. The pages you will be working on will be in the public_html folder. So click on the little folder icon to the left of public_html. Then look for, and click on the file index.html. This is the main page of your site. Then on the top right of the page you will see a list of editing options, click on "Html Editor". You may get a security alert, click yes. You are now at your wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) web page editor. You do not to use html code. Adding New Pages 4. To add a new page, you should be within the public_html folder, click on "Create New File". You may type in a title for the new page. Make sure to include the file extension like .html and in the dropdown box, choose HTML DOCUMENT and click "submit". You may then edit the page by clicking on it and choosing "Html Editor". Using Web Page Templates 5. To speed up the process of web page building, you
may use ready-made web page templates like the ones found at http://free-templates.org.
After highlighting the template script code, and while in the Html
Editor, click on the "html code" tab at the bottom of
the box. Then highlight all of the existing code in the box, right click
on the highlighted area and choose "paste". Now click the
"Design" tab, and the template should appear and be ready
for editing. Be sure to save your work by clicking the Uploading And Inserting Images You must be logged into your
CPanel, then go to your file manager. Click on the little folder icon next
to public_html, then click "Upload file(s)".
Browse your computer for the desired files, then click on the "Upload"
button at the bottom. To insert the image on your page, while in the Html
Editor mode, click the
